The inverted fluted column stems with elongated urn-shaped sockets rise from circular, stepped bases and the fine yellow-golden brass has formed a beautiful patina throughout the years. The hand-forged screws at the end of the stem allow for disassembly from bases.

Light silver soldering visible on one area of the stem as shown and a slight tilt to one stem that does not detract from their beauty. Otherwise, these period decorative pieces are in excellent condition with normal wear commensurate with age and use. They are indeed very characteristic of fine English quality craftsmanship prevalent at the end of the 18th century. Candles shown are not included with purchase.
