Very nice Kate Greenaway Artist Tile ~ Summer ~ 1881
RED VICTORIAN TRANSFERWARE TILE
T & R Boote Potteries ~ Staffordshire England ~ c. 1881
This large Victorian aesthetic movement 6 " x 6 " Victorian tile is transfer printed in red under the glaze. Four rectangular panels along the border containing aesthetic whimsical designs. The center has a Kate Greenaway etching of summer.
Never Used. Great condition.
