Opulent French Louis XV style writing table bureau plat desk crafted by Baker Furniture. The desk features a patinated bronze mounted leather top writing surface. The case is fronted by three drawers with polished gilt pulls finished in a dark green lacquered paint with parcel gilt accents. The gracefully curved cabriole legs end with gilt rococo decorated sabots. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a lovely aged patina. Makers plaque and label in drawer.
