About United Wilson:
One of the few remaining porcelain companies in Hong Kong, their rich history traces back to Jin Longsheng and Yong Heng, two ancestral porcelain workshops with intertwined roots in both Hong Kong and Macau. the lineage dates back a century, originating with the establishment of Jin Longsheng by our forefather who envisioned porcelain craftsmanship as a means of nurturing the family legacy.
Benefitting from Hong Kong's unique role as a bustling trading hub and the soaring demand for porcelain goods in Europe, the workshop thrived and evolved over time, progressing from a modest studio into a revered enterprise celebrated for its unparalleled artistry during its era. In the 1940s, the legacy was extended when his son and daughter-in-law founded Yong Heng in Macau, further expanding the business's reach.
Growing up in Hong Kong, Elsa, the founder's niece, spent a significant portion of her formative years in Macau. It was in Macau that her destiny became intertwined with porcelain, as she collaborated with her aunt and the skilled artisans at the workshop. Eventually, her life path converged with porcelain on a profound level. Together with her husband, Nelson, they assumed leadership, guiding a team of adept artisans to create intricate porcelain designs in their newfound venture. less
