- A very nice pair of Ostrich Candlesticks . A nice size at 5 1/2 " diameter marble base with metal … more A very nice pair of Ostrich Candlesticks . A nice size at 5 1/2 " diameter marble base with metal frame surrounding the marble . The Ostrich Egg is mounted on a sphere supported by the triple dolphins . All the metal work castings are polished and finished with Dore' Gold finish . The Ostrich Egg has a single candle holder . This appears to be a late Empire design . All taken care of for a long time in a private Family . The total hit of each Candle is at 12" .These will need to have special packing and shipping to protect them . A quote can be made at time of sale with Zip . No Foundry marks found ,may be under the felt. less
