Ironstone is a vitreous, durable type of stoneware that tends to be heavier than other types of pottery. Flow blue is a blue and white dish where the transfer ware is a bit blurry because of an additive put in the kiln to make the blue softer and blur.
This handled, oval bowl by Victoria Ware Ironstone in a flow blue pattern measures 9.4” x 6” x 3” and is in excellent condition.
