The 9 glasses are in perfect condition. Clear, shiny and sound.
- The crystal is as solid as the glass. The color crystal is called "lined crystal", it is entirely handmade to allow a magic flicker and essential finishes in the art of the table.
- The glasses are made in France manufactured in Lorraine and are from the 70s.
The crystal craftsman causes manufacturing and know-how dating back to the 18th century. Known worldwide, the Roemer service is a reference for lovers of refined dinners.
A little history:
If you are a table art lover, you know that these glasses are known worldwide.
These are the famous Roemer: Rhine wine glasses. The first copies were produced by Karl Fabergé for Tsar Nicholas II for Alsace wines where there are 6 main grape varieties, each color represents a grape. This is why you will always find them in 6 -color garnish.
These lined crystal glasses, entirely made by hand, are made of white crystal, then covered with a layer of colored crystal. It is by cutting them that we find the primary layer of transparent crystal, to enhance the contrast between the deep colors and the magic flicker of the crystal. You should know that when you size the crystal, it becomes mat, it then goes through different stages of polishing so that it becomes shiny again. less
