This is a matted vintage map of the Umbria region of Italy that is original to 1951. It came from an unbound collection of maps that featured the regions of Italy with illustrated vignettes of structures, nature and activities. This is a graphic map in vivid color of the region of Umbria, Italy. The map showcases Perugia and numerous other historic medieval towns and villages.
The map’s illustrator, Vsevolode Nicouline (1890-1062), had a career as a pictorial illustrator who spent his professional career in Italy.. This chromolithograph print is pristine with no evidence of foxing, folds or wear. It is beautifully bordered and is perfect for framing.
