This motif has its origins when representations of natural flowers were hung up over an entrance doorway on fête days, or suspended around an altar. Such beauty combined with this kind of character is hard to find. It would make a stunning piece in the entranceway of a home or perhaps at the end of a hallway. It is in overall good condition with a weighty wooden backing providing structure and support.
