The Desco table was created by the great architect and designer Achille Castiglioni for Zanotta Furniture Company Pioneer of Italian Design in the 1950s.
Designed in 1971 together with Marcello Minal for the Wimpy restaurant in Rome.
He entered the Zanotta production line for a few years and few specimens were produced, which is why Desco is a rather rare table.
Made with high quality materials, it consists of a tripod in stainless steel tubes bent with U, connected in two points by polygonal spacers; A two -tone disc rests on this base, with a dark laminate edge.
Under the base there is the Zanotta brand with the designer's signature.
The table is in discreet conditions, it has signs of wear and patina on the plastic part in which there are also two breaks in the edge; The central part in steel has a small stamp and scratches.
However, these defects do not affect their overall beauty.
