Winter forest, red fox georgij moroz (dneprodzerzinsk, ukraine 1937 - san petersburg 2015) born in dneprodzerzinsk, in ukraine, in 1937, began artistic studies at the school of figurative arts of the city of origin and continued at the kiev school of fine arts (1949-1956). From 1956 to 1962 he completed the cycle of studies at the academy of fine arts in st. Petersburg. In 1973 he joined the union of the artists of st. Petersburg. The exhibition activity began in the early sixties and has been intended since 1980, participating in numerous exhibitions also abroad, including several personal. In 2002 he exhibited at the exhibition for the 70 years of the union of painters of st. Petersburg and the following year he was present at the review to celebrate the 300 years of the foundation of the city. In 2007, in honor of his seventieth birthday, he was dedicated an important staff to st. Petersburg. Always extraordinary in the freshness and authenticity of the subjects, the painting of moroz, one of the major representatives of the post impressionism russian impressionism, has matured an expressive dimension capable of giving the picture an atmosphere of poetry of the true distant from the regime political issues. Thanks to the brilliance of the material dough, on and at the same time delicate, resolved with robust brush strokes in a vibrant and bright colorism, the ukrainian artist has been able to develop a poetics rooted in the reality in which he lives, preferring simple subjects, peaceful images of life family and country landscapes with surprising atmospheric brightness.
