Attributed to 1930's based on other hickory pieces bought at same time from same dealer. Herringbone weave is unusual and is attributed to early pieces Rustic Hickory La Porte, Indiana 1924 Original patina is wonderful- Have photographed rubs in logs, scratch issues which are under finish and most likely done at time of cutting saplings. Also a peeling out of 1 of corner legs, also under finish. Some loose weave on top side- see close up image. Have 2 tables this size, this is table 1)
What I love about this is the textural, natural element it adds to any room. less
