Designed and manufactured in Italy, circa the 1970s. Mollusc shaped molded opaline glass shells make up the entire body of these contemporary sconces. You can mount these with a point up or point down approach. Takahama designed a series of lamps first in opaline glass, later models in metal or acrylic. These glass lamps Kai are not seen often. This piece has an attribution mark,
