The gracefully curved form features an old, faded and distressed painted signature by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022) of his gallery in Calistoga, CA. The front of the basket reads "Yager" with faint designs above. Yeager used the basket as a prop at his gallery to display alongside his French paintings.
