The design explored a branching twig motif, inspired by the inventive employment of organic forms by pre-Columbian indigenous peoples in their architecture and sacred artifacts. The motif informs the chair frame and material. Hand-carved in maple, and then cast in 93% recycled magnesium-aluminum alloy then hand polished and patinated

We reupholstered the bench on a gorgeous burnt orange mohair that beautifully contrasts the metal finish of the frame. The bench frame is in excellent condition showing only minimal signs of wear and use. less
