Description: A Spanish carved-walnut occasional table with drawers from the 18th century. This antique table from Spain, created from rich walnut … more A Spanish carved-walnut occasional table with drawers from the 18th century. This antique table from Spain, created from rich walnut wood, has a rectangular-shaped top, which overhangs the apron below which houses a pair of half drawers at one long side. The drawers are carved with a raised diamond and medallion shaped motif panels on their fronts, and fitted with a single knob pull each. The table is raised on a pair of canted/saw horse style legs, and are braced with a box stretcher just above their feet. The stretcher bar has carved embellishments which drop down at their centers, along all four sides. This piece has a fabulous old patina; a beautiful reflection of is long history and use. Note that there is some warping at the top (please refer to additional images for more detail). This 18th century Spanish walnut table with drawers will make a great, versatile piece for your home or office. less
