This is a Rare & Original Signed Multimedia Lithograph by Viggo Holm Madsen (1925–1998) who is a well know artist from Denmark and is Listed Artist in Many Indices throughout the World. This is an Original Mixed Media Embossed Woodcut Etching of Museum Size & Quality Measuring Almost 3 Feet High and comes in a Gilded Frame. It Depicts a Beautiful Multimedia Abstract Titled "Neighbors" from the Time Period. His works have been exhibited throughout the world & Held in Corporate & Private Collections. This is one of Madsens finer works and is No. 3 of 5 of a small Limited Edition. The Fiber Paper is wavy from the various mediums used and due to its Natural Age. Some steam and/or heat can possibly help with flattening out if you decide to go that route at your discretion. This piece is referenced in one of the indexes. It has Beautiful Color Tones that were Well Blended which Gives Great Depth & Dimension to the Details that were Meticulously done from the Time Period. Viggo Holm Madsen was a prolific artist, known for his printmaking and dedicated to experimentation using woodcut, embossing, etching, oil, watercolor and batik. He was a professor of Art at Nassau Community College for more than 20 years and was the president of the New York State Art Teacher's Association.
His work has had over 200 solo exhibitions in the United States & Europe
