- This unusual vintage and newly upholstered side chair is by James Peade for Drexel Furniture Company. it is called the … more This unusual vintage and newly upholstered side chair is by James Peade for Drexel Furniture Company. it is called the Abacus chair. This has been attributed to the style of Milo Baughman in other references. It is chrome over stainless steel. It has wonderful original wheels. It has been upholstered with an off-white /white textural weave around 10 years ago and never used since. There is a loose back cushion and the top cushion has a zipper.... all original design.The seat cushion with the pillow back is 17.5" D. The seat height is 18" H. This is a great accent chair! less
