Majestic in … Read more For you to consider are a matched pair of large Grecian style covered pedestal urns by Sarreid, Ltd. Majestic in size, the urns stand approximately 24” in height on a 8” footed stepped base, measure 9.25” in diameter at the opening, and weigh nearly 16 pounds each. Created of durable composite resin, the urns have an embossed aged and distressed finish that resembles antique leather. They are decorated with elongated acanthus leaf detailing at the bottom of the urns body and the lids are topped with an elaborated acorn finial. These are stunning, large scale, decorator pieces of quality that will add sophistication and classic beauty to any decor. In overall excellent condition there are no chips, cracks, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections. The paper Sarreid labeling (originally attached with adhesive to the bottom of the base) has fallen away over the years as is commonplace with these pieces. No other identifying hallmark is found. Wear is commensurate for age and history of use, so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing. See less
