A pretty and charming whimsical piece, this ceramic pig is a limited edition statue by Russian artist Anatoly Turov. It's made of beautiful ceramic and hand-painted with vibrant colors.
Measures 11" long x 9" tall.

Anatoly Turov came to the U. S. from Russia in 1989. He wanted to become successful in producing his own ceramic vessels, most notably animals. It was in 1976 when he was still in Russia, he began working in ceramics and found his unique style. When he first came to the U.S., he set up in a friend's garage. In 1990 he launched his first collection. His pieces were available to a limited customer base and sold only in expensive designer shops. Today, he still maintains small artisan studios in Russia and California. less
