I purchased this at an artist's estate sale many years ago and don't know if it's signed under the matting or not. Even though abstract is not my love this painting spoke to me and I had to buy it. Visitors tend to spend more time viewing this piece than my other art, and I have some great art, and they always compliment the work. You will enjoy it. It's double matted in cream and brick red with a modern dark blue metal frame and a non breakable acrylic glass that compliments the piece yet doesn't distract. There are a couple of tiny spots on the matting inside the acrylic that I think are flecks from when the mat board was cut. There are also a few thin scratches in the acrylic. They've all been there since I purchased it. I have priced it considering the buyer might want to replace the acrylic with glass. less
