Chinese porcelain blue and white dragon bianhu, a flask form vase with a white glazed exterior and interior and an … Read more Chinese porcelain blue and white dragon bianhu, a flask form vase with a white glazed exterior and interior and an unglazed, flat base. Two, finely drawn, five-clawed, sky dragons decorate the front and back of the vase, amid stylized clouds and Taoist flames that wrap around the sides, all in a blue and white glaze. A cloud and thunder border encircles the lip, bracketed by double blue trim lines above and below. The base of the neck has a band of large, leafy lappets ending in two pairs of double blue circles. The two handles joining the neck to the body of the vase are decorated with blue clouds. A blue, four character, Yongle reign mark is glazed just below the neck. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century. See less
