The lamp base is brass, the lamp post is metal, and the shade is frosted glass. The lamp is heavy, with a slid dimmer switch box on the power cord. I'm not sure if Ethan Allen manufactured this lamp but that is where we purchased it. On the receipt the item # is 2181. See less
