Metal top bears signature of artist: "G Urso" (Italian). Original owner; non smoking, no pet household. Hexagonal walnut base( hollow) is sturdy, no dings or scratches. Metal table top shows some normal signs of wear commensurate with age and use; center of table top has some minor damage to coloration of metal in an irregular area approximately six inches across, as a result of moisture from a potted plant tray as well as one other area of similar wear nearer to edge. Metal unknown but is silvery/pewter in color; may be brass with artistically etched or pressed surface to create design. less
