This Mark Rothko vintage offset lithograph print Abstract Expressionist poster " No.14 / No.10 ( Yellow Greens ) ", 1953 is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
Mark Rothko ( 1903 - 1970 ) is an American Modernist painter of Russian Jewish descent. Although Rothko himself refused to adhere to any art movement, he is generally defined as an Abstract Expressionist His bold use of saturated color fields make the artworks impressively iconic and individual. Rothko is considered to be one of the most important American painters of the 20th Century.
The rare out of print offset lithograph print features an artwork image by Rothko titled " No.14 / No.10 ( Yellow Greens ) created in 1953. The print measures 11" W X 14 1/4" H. It is printed in Germany in 2003 with the licensed rights of Kate Rothko Prizel & Christopher Rothko.
It is printed on high quality heavyweight paper stock with saturated ink colors with a satin finish. It is in excellent " like new " condition, with very light signs of handling. It has never been framed, and is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
