Executive armchair designed by Eero Saarinen and manufactured by Knoll. Has original label as well as Knoll ticking on underside of each chair. This chair is all in very good original condition -ready for use. dark blue grey color believed to be 'Rivington' upholstery. The color is close to a denim color. Stunning in person
The Saarinen Executive Chair (designed in 1946) was originally made of fiberglass but was later updated in polyurethane. The feel remains unchanged as the molded shell flexes slightly with the sitter. The contoured plywood seat is solidly supported by chromed metal legs. Manufactured by Knoll according to the original and exacting specifications of the designer. less
