Ashtray depicts two gentleman with top hats, lighting a cigar. Tray was owned by the same family for over 70 years. I was told the ware on the piece came from it was used as a soap dish decades ago. - Tray has ware from use and age. Family that owned the tray for last 70 years used it decades ago … moreTray has ware from use and age. Family that owned the tray for last 70 years used it decades ago as a soap dish. On front there is a spot where the soap has left a residue, create some black markings and some scratches. There is also a light patch of residue in the back. I didn’t want to clean and possible create more damage. I like the character and the story of how it came to be. less
