Nice deep rich color and patina to the … Read more A very attractive early 19th century German Biedermeier Abbatant With Architectural Pediment. Nice deep rich color and patina to the Maple surface. Pine secondary wood on the case and drawers. Original Ebony feet and Ebony escutcheons. Beautifully fitted interior with a center door and several smaller drawers. Original surface has been cleaned and re polished. All drawers are working smoothly and the drop front lid is strong when down. Original locks are all working with four keys. One backboard is a later replacement. Some veneer repairs and the usual surface imperfections one would expect from a piece of this age. Truly a spectacular Biedermeier piece! See less
