It originally was a supplement insert in a French haute couture magazine from that date. Reverse side is blank The print is original to 1948 and NOT a modern reproduction. It is done on thick textured paper in a deep bronze color tone. Signed in the stone by the artist, Jean Baptiste Caumont. The image features a 3 tiered layered evening coat designed by the iconic Balenciaga. It has wonderful chic styling.
