This impressive 12 color screenprint is by Darryl Pottorf (1952- ) The print is titled “Truck Stop de Marra Kech”. It was printed and published in 2000 by Gemini G.E.L. the well-known artist’ workshop and publisher of fine arts limited-edition prints and sculptures. Pottorf was friend of and assistant to Robert Rauschenberg for 25 years. He also collaborated with Rauschenberg on several prints which were also published in 2000 by Gemini G.E.L. This exceptional print measures 36” x 27”. It is a 12 color screenprint with pencil drawing. The print is in excellent condition. It is signed in pencil in the lower left and numbered 23/50. I will ship the print unframed, rolled in a large heavyweight tube unless you specify otherwise. It has seven acid-free mounts on the reverse which will be helpful when you frame the work. I have a very adequate off-white wood frame with Plexiglas that are meant for the print, but shipping in the frame would cost $150-450 extra dollars, depending on your distance from San Francisco, so I am shipping it unframed unless you specify otherwise. If you are local, you will get a pretty nice frame and plexiglas for free. If you are not local and really want the frame, please email me for a shipping quote with the frame.
