This clock dates to the period around 1900-1910 and was made of the highest quality of its era.

The clock was English made, most likely by Elliot of London. It was exported and retailed by Black, Starr & Frost, New York.

The clock has an elaborate 8 day movement with quarter hour striking.

The movement has 3 trains with musical chime components. The chime has settings on the dial allowing one to silence the chimes if desired.

The chime sequence plays the Westminster chime tune and can be set to play on either 8 bells or 5 gongs.

The clock is quite gorgeous. The dial has an elaborate design with Art Nouveau motifs. The center has large beveled glass allowing one to see the bright brass pendulum and weights in motion.
