We purchased … more Bay Colony Antiques is pleased offer for sale this wonderful early 19th century Antique Cherry drop leaf table. We purchased this from a local Hampshire County estate where the previous owners used this to display their fresh produce at their roadside farm stand. There is some wear & light scratching on the table, but it’s roughly 200 years old and still a wonderful, undisturbed, antique New England table. The hinges are original and there’s no evidence that the top was ever removed from the base. The leaves are supported by shuttles that are concealed in the table box and we especially love the turning pattern on the legs with the crisp ringlets. These make great dining tables for country / farmhouse kitchens and are also perfect for smaller spaces like old homes. With the leaves down the table measures 18 1/2” wide x 42” deep x 29” tall.
