This is a lovely late nineteenth century cruet set (one salt pot, one peppe shaker + two other bottles for … Read more This is a lovely late nineteenth century cruet set (one salt pot, one peppe shaker + two other bottles for vinegar & oil) made from cut glass and plated metal. The bottles, shaker and pot sit in a stand with a handle and 4 raised ball feet. Please note one of the bottles no longer has its lid. The salt pot is also missing its spoon. This set has a makers mark on the bottom ("K & P G EPNS") and a prominent letter "R" on its front. I believe that the makers were the "Kleinwort & Peerless" company - who were based in London, England and quite active in the late 1800s. (EPNS stands for "electro plate nickel silver").

The stand measures: 7 1/4" height x 4 7/8" width x 4 7/8" depth. It weighs 2lb 11oz.
The salt shaker measures 3 7/8" height x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".
The pepper shaker measures 5" height x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".
The lidded bottle measures 5 1/2" height x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".
The un-lidded bottle measures 3 7/8" height x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".
