Elegant goldscheider art déco art ceramic figure from the 1930s: dancer with chin-length brunette hair in light gray-blue long dance dress with abstract floral decoration, posing with her upper body turned slightly to the side and leaning backwards, holding up the hem of the dress with her right outstretched hand. On black, slightly curved oval base. Designed by josef lorenzl (1892 - 1950), was an austrian sculptor and ceramic modeler. His bronze statuettes often show graceful dancers with long legs and closed eyes. Lorenzl designed numerous ceramics for friedrich goldscheider and keramos and was one of the most popular artists of art deco. Model 6492 was created circa 193!/1932. Made circa 1932 manufactory: goldscheider vienna / austria material & technique: hand-crafted ceramics, white earthenware, hand-painted, glossy finish size: height: 40,5 cm / 15.94 in width: 19,0 cm / 7.48 in depth: 14,0 cm / 5.51 in marks: model number 6492 / 68 / 1 goldscheider wien (vienna) manufactory stamp made in austria painter's and former's signs existing bibliography: dechant / goldscheider, goldscheider: firmengeschichte und werkverzeichnis / history of the company and catalogue of works, stuttgart (germany), 2007, page 432, number 6492. Condition: very good - usual signs of age. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
