- A Mid-Century lidded jar or canister designed by Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad (1918–2006) as part of his Quatre Couleurs series … more A Mid-Century lidded jar or canister designed by Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad (1918–2006) as part of his Quatre Couleurs series for Rosenthal Porcelain of Germany. Quatre Couleurs (or four colors) refers to the varying shades of gold used to decorate Wiinblad's cylindrical shaped design with a fitted lid. The body is glazed in a high gloss white. Very good condition and an ideal accessory for a desk, coffee table, or vanity. Fully marked on the base with Rosenthal / Germany green factory stamp over Quatre Couleurs, a facsimile signature of Bjørn Wiinblad, and a golden capital letter S for Rosenthal's Studio Linie (Studio Line) designs. The jar measures 4.88 in height x 4 in diameter. less
