The silver content is most likely .500 silver. The shape is graduated to a graduated finial on each top and there are three small hoofed legs on each piece Hallmarks: no markings evident. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom including finial=1-3/4 inches, Width at widest=2 inches, Inside depth=1-1/8 inches. This marvelous pair of silver covered salts have been well cared for, gently used and are in excellent antique condition, free from dents or repairs. The insertion points of the legs show some discoloration, but it does not diminish the beauty or usability of these lovely salt cellars.
