The abrashed red field contains a large-scale superimposed octofoil medallion anchored with flaming palmette pendants at either end. An allover pattern composed of stylized florals, blooming palmettes, serrated leaves and amorphous organic shapes further ornament the field. Radiating from the corners are equally intricate spandrels echoing the designs within the field. It is framed with a serrated leaf and rosette border enclosed with carnation meander guard borders.
