Originally designed for the ultra-chic Kong Chinese restaurant in Paris back in 2003, the Kong chair by Philippe Starck has staying power! Hand made to order in the Emeco factory in Hanover Pennsylvania, this chair is built to last generations. The chair is built from recycled aluminum by skilled craftsmen, and requires the hand welding of 24 separate pieces and 8 hours of hand polishing. With the motto “First, let’s make things that last” the Emeco brand has continued to deliver that promise since 1944.
