It’s collapsible with tightening and loosening of the screws. I’ve also seen people add screws and a decorative lighting chain across the top to make it more permanent and showier.
There are a few spots of discolorations on one side that look like it had abutted something? Perhaps with some additional polishing elbow grease they will come out.
