Rare Artist's Proof of Richard Slater's view off his balcony where he once stayed when he was young ( according to one story I read online ).
Signed on the lower right. On the lower left is where you find the mark for Artist's Proof.
There is a number below that as well. Because this is above being a limited edition- rising to the status of artists proof, my guess is the number relates to that status.
The estate sale I acquired this from had a collection of art that has not been seen or circulated since the 1970s. They said the owner kept all the art pieces in a vault for over 40 years. This is one of them- I acquired many and will be listing some here on Chairish.
