- Ornately carved Kittinger solid walnut cabinet made in 1925. There are two adjustable shelves (original) within the cabinet, one very … more Ornately carved Kittinger solid walnut cabinet made in 1925. There are two adjustable shelves (original) within the cabinet, one very clean spacious drawer, and a scrolled iron base. The metal Kittinger tag and notecard identifying what kind of wood it is made of are no longer attached to the cabinet but I still have them to send along. Amazingly, after almost 100 years, the key is also with the piece. It is in very good vintage condition with some wear mostly caused by time, not damage. There are cracks in the some of the side and front cabinet panels (the drawer is free of cracks). Please zoom in carefully as I have made sure all of these are in the photos. They are most probably a result of normal expansion and contraction of the wood through the years and really do not detract from the look of the piece. There are also some scratches on the left middle ledge. I have included a close up photo of this so please zoom in to inspect. Although very amplified in the photo, they are quite unnoticeable in real life. I also have a letter from the Kittinger company which was sent to a previous owner that verifies the date of manufacture (1925) and gives some more information on the piece. I will make sure to send along a copy of this with the cabinet when purchased. less
