this is just a great original piece. I purchased this work thinking that one day I would figure out who the artist is. I have stared at it for hours and have come up empty. I have no idea who the artist is. If anyone does know who the artist is, I would appreciate an email. As you can see it is signed and I believe dated '05 lower right. The reason I bought it is because of the quality of the work. This is an incredible original pastel on paper in black and white and gray or a rooster at in the shadows of the moon. Pastel on paper measuring 21 x 18 1/2 inches. Excellent clean as drawn condition. The work is in an archival double matte that shows some minor pastel smudges. Could be cleaned and framed as it is or really a new matte and frame would make this an incredible work to display. Truly an outstanding work. Matte measures 27 3/4 x 25 inches. less
