- This beautiful swivel oak desk chair has been newly restored. A partial crack in the seat was repaired and the … more This beautiful swivel oak desk chair has been newly restored. A partial crack in the seat was repaired and the chair was stripped, stained and given a satin-gloss topcoat for protection. No repair was done to the protective front rubber bumper which is in good antique condition. However, it should be noted that both corners of bumpers have been mostly worn away, but the front remains in tack. Casters were likely replaced at one time, but not by us. This piece is unbranded but has all of the characteristics of a 1940s Sikes swivel chair when noting the number and shape of the legs and hardware, specifically the hub, which are consistent with the Sikes 1940s model. less
