Decorative table lamp created from a converted Qing dynasty ginger jar (circa 1890 +/-). Lamp conversion is probably 1970s or 1980s.
Classic ginger jar of globular form, with a celadon ground and attractive decor in blue and white. A very pretty accent piece.
Lamp overall measures 20.5"x 9.5"x 9.5" (w/harp). Other measurements: 15.5" to top of socket, jar alone measures 9.5"x 9.5"x 8.75", wood base is 7.75" in diameter. No shade.
Jar has some age/use appropriate handling wear, no chips or cracks. Lamp is in excellent working condition. Unmarked, undated. less
