(British, 1788-1854)
Pair of framed seashell lithographs, handcolored, from Conchologia Iconica (Illustrations of the shells of Molluscous Animals) published in London by Reeve c.1843-1878.
G.B. Sowerby took over the completion of the work after Reeve’s death in 1865. These are examples of plates drawn by Sowerby.
