Each of these 36' x 30' works, "The Sources of Music" and "The Triumph of Music", are hung on opposite sides of the lobby's grand staircase. Chagall further graced the Opera with his scenery and costume designs for the opening night performance of Mozart's The Magic Flute, the artist's favorite composer and opera.
Book is the documentation of both the murals and the Magic Flute scenery and costumes with over 100 color illustrations including 52 full page and double page plates with some black and white as well. With colorful jacket and blue paperboard slipcase.
