This piece is stamped as being made by Carl Tielsch for Altwasser in Germany, see pictures, and the stamp dates this piece to 1875-1935. This spitoon, item number 4624, was used to spit tobacco into by those who chewed tobacco; this piece has a square-shaped silhouette with a ruffled rim design, it features a beautiful pink and brown color scheme with a lovely blue and pink floral motif on the front.
