Found in the South of France, this Late 1700s French Louis XV Chest of Drawers was crafted by french artisans from old growth walnut. The piece features a three planked top resting above two large hand dovetailed drawers. Each drawer retains its original brass hardware, escutcheons and locking mechanisms. No key is available. The commode is finished with a scalloped apron on the front and both sides and the piece rest on four cabriole legs. Presenting original peg joints and a rich walnut patina this chest of drawers will compliment any room of the home.
