A French 1925-1935 art deco vase by Denbac in earthenware with a nice drip glaze. The vase, model 545, is in excellent condition. It is 17.9 cm high. And has a diameter of 13,6 cm.

In 1909 the ceramist René Denert (1872-1937) opened a pottery in the town of Vierzon in the centre of France. In 1921 the businessman René-Louis Balichon joined the firm and it was renamed ‘La Société Denert & Balichon'. The company name Denbac was born. A flourishing business during the interbellum, the old catalogs show Denert designed at least 670 different models. Model 545 is a difficult to find one and sought after for its nice art deco design.
