Salvaged from a New … more Surface mount Alabaster glass with dark bronze or iron and leaded glass chandelier. 18 " diameter. Salvaged from a New York City school or government building interior in 1960. Black and white. Must see. Only the larger fixture is for sale on Chairish. The slightly smaller round one is broken and in need of repair. This sturdy yet very valuable fixture has been installed in our family home since 1960. I now have it uninstalled and stored in Brooklyn. It holds four bulbs inside. I would prefer to sell it to a professional or someone who has access to a professional installer. of antique lighting. It is in great gorgeous condition. It is not fragile, I just do not want to leave any doubts and will not be dissembling it because I don't want to mess anything up. It is not fragile, is it just very valuable because of the style and age. We are happy to have you look at it in Brooklyn. BUT IT IS ONLY FOR SALE THROUGH MY CHAIRISH SHOP. Thanks very much. We know you will love it. It is very cool, yet has a lot of history. It is large at approx 18" in diameter. The sale price is $3,000 not 2,000.
